Bicyclist Tam Ngo Killed in Beaumont Crash with Vehicle on Highway 347

Beaumont, Texas (December 13, 2017) – A 55-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Beaumont, according to a report by the Beaumont Police Department.
The crash took place at around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, at 6240 Highway 347, as per the police report.
Police said the driver of a Mercury Grand Marque attempted to change lanes of the highway and struck the victim, who was riding along the side of the highway.
The victim, identified as Tam Trung Ngo, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
It is unclear whether charges were filed.
There were no further details on the accident.
