Sonia Margarito Toledo Killed in Dallas Car Crash on Interstate 35

Dallas, Texas (October 25, 2019) – A woman was killed on Thursday after an 18 wheeler overturned and crushed into her car on a Dallas interstate, a local news source reported.

The crash happened on Thursday, October 24, on northbound I-35 over the Trinity River near downtown.

According to the deputies, the driver of a 2006 orange Freightliner said he was in the right lane and was cut off by a vehicle that came into his lane of travel in front of him. The driver braked and swerved to the left, causing him to lose control and crush on top of a red Nissan Versa.

The impact pinned the Nissan driver, Sonia Margarito Toledo, 75, inside her car.

Toledo was killed in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
