Luis Landeros Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on East Anderson Lane in North Austin, July 26
North Austin, Texas (August 15, 2018) – Police have identified the pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in North Austin on July 26.
Luis Cristobal Landeros, 50, died in the crash that occurred at around 8:40 a.m. in the 1100 block of East Anderson Lane.
Police said Landeros was walking eastbound along the side of the road when a black westbound 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage jumped the curb and hit him.
Landeros was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:19 a.m.
It’s unclear whether the driver of the Mitsubishi was charged.
The crash is under investigation.
