Alvin Johnson Pedestrian Killed in Hit-And-Run Crash on East Berry Street in Fort Worth
Fort Worth, Texas (August 15, 2018) – The man who was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash involving a hit-and-run driver on Monday morning in Fort Worth had been identified as Alvin Ray Johnson, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
The crash took place in the 1500 block of East Berry Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Monday, August 13.
Police said Johnson was run over by a vehicle driven on East Berry Street by a man.
Johnson was killed in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene after the incident.
Police said the suspect vehicle is a black Jeep or a minivan.
The search for the hit-and-run driver is ongoing.
