April Rosales injured in Hit-And-Run Crash near Rio Grande Street and Delmar Drive in Victoria, Aug 11
Victoria, Texas (August 17, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Victoria early Saturday morning, according to the Victoria Police Department.
The crash was reported at around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, August 11 near the intersection of Rio Grande Street and Delmar Drive.
Police said pedestrians called the authorities after noticing the victim in the road.
The victim, identified as April Rosales of Victoria, was walking near the intersection when she was hit by a car.
Police said Rosales was taken to Citizens Medical Center and later flown to a hospital in San Antonio. No details were provided on her condition.
The Victoria Police Department is conducting an investigation into the accident.
