1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on the Eastex Freeway

One Killed in Eastex Freeway 18-Wheeler Crash at Greens Road

Houston, Texas (September 15, 2017) – One person was killed on Thursday morning in a crash involving a semi-truck and a Ford pickup truck on the Eastex Freeway, according to a Houston Police report.
The deadly accident happened after 1 a.m. at Greens Road on Thursday, September 14.
Deputies say a Ford Pickup truck was traveling southbound on the freeway when it came to a stop in the middle of the highway and was struck by a semi-truck traveling in the same direction as the pickup.
The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene while the semi truck driver was not injured.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
