Girl Killed, 3 Injured in DUI Crash in Houston
Houston, Texas (May 29, 2018) – A teenage girl was killed and three other people were injured in an alleged DUI accident in Houston Sunday evening, according to Houston Police.
The deadly collision took place at about 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 27 at Westpark Drive and Dunvale Road.
Police said a family of four were in a sedan stopped at the intersection for the light when their vehicle was rear-ended by a Ford Mustang that was traveling at high rate of speed.
A 17-year-old girl in the sedan died in the crash. Her father was transported to the hospital with critical injuries while her mother and 13-year-old sister suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Mustang driver took his 2-year-old son from the car and fled the scene. He was later located and arrested.
The crash remains under investigation.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes. No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies. While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
