1 Dead After Car Crashes into 18-Wheeler Truck in Humble

Humble, Texas (August 04, 2017) – A woman died on Tuesday afternoon after her car hit an 18 wheeler truck in Humble City according to police reports.
The accident occurred at about 2:00 p.m. Aug. 1 on South Houston Avenue near Lawler’s Dessert Business Area.
HPD reported that an 18-wheeler traveling northbound on South Houston Avenue tried to make a left turn to Lawler’s Dessert Business Area when a car traveling southbound crashed into the side of the truck. The impact of the accident was severe that it claimed the life of the woman driver.
No other person was injured.
The identity of the victim was unavailable.
Humble police are investigating the crash to determine the cause of the crash.
