Woman Killed in Harris County Possible Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 6 near Beechnut

Harris County, Texas (November 22, 2019) – A woman was killed Friday morning in an alleged possible hit-and-run crash in southwest Harris County, according to a local news source.

The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. in the 8300 block of Highway 6 South near Beechnut.

Deputies said the woman’s body was found in the roadway. The driver who hit her fled the scene. Her name has not been disclosed.

The northbound lanes of Highway 6 were closed following the crash.

An investigation is underway.
