Willie Keith ID’d as Man Injured in Odessa Motorcycle Crash on East Highway 191 and Billy Hext
Odessa, Texas (September 18, 2018) – The man who was injured Saturday evening in a motorcycle collision in Odessa has been identified as Willie Keith, 44, according to police.
The accident occurred at around 5:23 p.m. Saturday, September 15 on East Highway 191 and Billy Hext.
According to the Police, Keith was riding a black 2008 Honda motorcycle eastbound on East Highway 191 while a 26-year-old was driving a green 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer eastbound in the outside lane.
Authorities said Keith was on the white lines dividing the inside and outside lanes when he failed to control his speed and rear-ended a Trail Blazer.
Keith sustained serious injuries and was transported to Medical Center Hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
