Stefanie Torres ID’d as Woman Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on North Interstate 35
Austin, Texas (November 6, 2018) – The woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle last month in Austin has been identified by police as Stefanie Marie Torres, 38.
The fatal accident occurred just before 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, October 30 in the 8200 block of North Interstate 35.
Police said Torres was trying to cross along North Interstate 35 when she was struck by a 2017 white Volvo truck tractor traveling northbound on the outside lane.
Torres was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and complied with investigators.
