28-Year-Old Man Killed in Northline Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway near Werner
Northline, Texas (September 28, 2018) – A skateboarder was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Friday morning near Northline, according to the police.
The deadly accident took place at about 1:30 a.m. on North Freeway service road near Werner.
Police said a 28-year-old man was skateboarding on the sidewalk of North Freeway when a dark-coloured car veered into the sidewalk and struck him.
The driver of the car did not stop to render aid and fled heading northbound on North Freeway.
The victim was a possibly a Walmart employee and was killed in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
