Man Pushing Shopping Cart Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on Bandera Road
San Antonio, Texas (June 27, 2018) – A man pushing a shopping cart died when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Wednesday morning in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio police.
The incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on Bandera Road.
Police said officers had stopped to block the roadway for a man whose shopping cart fell onto the roadway.
Shortly after, a call was made that the man had been struck by a truck whose driver fled the scene of the crash.
The victim, identified d as a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The San Antonio police are looking for the hit-and-run driver.
