Person Killed in North Austin Pedestrian Crash on North Interstate Highway 35

Austin, Texas (July 27, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning in north Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident took place at about 1:37 a.m. in the 8200 block of North Interstate Highway 35.

Authorities said an adult male was found lying dead at the scene.

It’s unclear how the pedestrian was hit.

The identities of the victim and the driver involved were not immediately released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
