One Seriously Hurt, Kenneth Burch Arrested after Northwest Austin Crash at Parmer Lane and Silver Creek Drive
Austin, Texas (September 30, 2018) – One person was seriously injured and another arrested following a multi-vehicle collision involving a hit-and-run driver in Northwest Austin on Friday morning.
According to the APD, the wreck happened at Parmer Lane and Silver Creek Drive at around 7 a.m. Friday, September 28.
Police said the driver of a Kia Optima sped through the intersection and struck three vehicles. The driver then got out of the vehicle and fled the scene.
One person sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police later arrested Kenneth Demarcus Burch, 22, in connection with the crash. Police said he was booked into jail on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
The crash is under investigation.
