Andrews Teen Neo Calvert Killed in Martin County Crash on State Highway 349

Martin County, October (October 25, 2018) – An Andrews teen was killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in Martin County, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred on Highway 349 on Wednesday, October 24.
According to the news source, 39-year-old Juan Romero-Caballero of Chihuahua was towing a semi-trailer northbound on SH 349 when he made an unsafe turn and struck a southbound car driven by 18-year-old Neo Calvert of Andrews.
Calvert was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
