Milam County, TX – A man was killed last Wednesday in a bicycle accident in Milam County, according to the Texas DPS.
The deadly accident happened on January 7 on US 190.
DPS said Nakita Kim Smith, 51, of Gause, was riding a bicycle westbound when he was struck by a westbound 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck.
The truck driver did not see Smith because of low-light conditions.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The troopers are investigating the accident.
