Rider Seriously Hurt in Austin Motorcycle Crash on East U.S. 290

Austin, Texas (June 27, 2019) – A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday night in Northeast Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident occurred at about 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, in the 6700 block of East U.S. 290.

Medics said the rider was involved in a crash with another vehicle.

The rider was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries suspected to be life-threatening.

No other injuries were reported.

The authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
