Michael Airheart Dies after Arlington Bicycle Accident on East Park Row Drive near New York Avenue
Arlington, Texas (October 26, 2018) – The bicyclist who was hospitalized last week Monday night after a traffic accident in Arlington succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. October 15, in the 1900 block of East Park Row Drive near New York Avenue.
Police said Michael Airheart, 35, of Arlington was riding his bicycle in the right lane of East Park Row Drive when a vehicle struck him.
Airheart was taken to Medical City Arlington where he succumbed to his injuries just after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24.
He was not in a crosswalk and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and complied with the authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
