Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on Southeast Military Drive near South Flores Street

San Antonio, Texas (October 18, 2018) – A man riding on a wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night in San Antonio, according to the police.
The incident took place at around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, October 17 on Southeast Military Drive near South Flores Street.
Police said the man was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a motorcyclist. The impact ejected the victim onto the roadway and he was then hit by a car.
The victim died of injuries sustained in the accident. He was only identified as a man in his 60s or 70s.
No details were provided on the identity of the motorcyclist or the car driver involved.
The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
