Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Enrique M. Barrera Parkway
San Antonio, Texas (August 9, 2018) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night on the West Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash took place in the 300 block of Enrique M. Barrera Parkway at around 10:18 p.m. Wednesday, August 8.
Police said a man in his 60s had just left the Fiesta Charra Mexican restaurant when he stepped into the street and was struck by an SUV.
The victim died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the SUV reportedly remained and rendered aid to the victim.
The identities of the parties involved were not immediately released.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
