Killeen, TX – A 28-year-old man was killed Thursday morning in a motorcycle accident in Killeen, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 4:17 a.m. on September 18 on the westbound Interstate 14 at the Trimmier overpass.
Police said a blue 2014 Honda sedan, driven by a juvenile, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it overtook and rear-ended a westbound 2008 Yamaha motorcycle.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. His name has not been released.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The accident closed the interstate.
The police are investigating the accident.
