Levolla Jackson Seriously Injured in Lubbock Crash at East 19th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
Lubbock, Texas (January 8, 2019) – One person was hospitalized Monday evening following a traffic accident at an intersection in Lubbock, police said.
The wreck was reported at around 6:08 p.m. Monday, January 7 at the intersection of East 19th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
According to the police, a pick-up truck collided with a semi-tractor trailer at the intersection for a reason still under investigation.
Levolla Jackson, 75, who was the driver of the pick-up, sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to UMC. Jackson was later listed in stable condition.
Investigators said the semi was traveling westbound and was turning southbound at the intersection when it collided with the pick-up that was heading eastbound.
