Cabrera, a resident of Odessa, was taken to the hospital, where he later died
Martin County, TX. – Lediar R. Morejon Cabrera, 21, was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Tuesday morning in Martin County.
According to local authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of FM 829 and FM 3113 at around 8:45 a.m.
Cabrera was driving a 2003 Freightliner south on FM 829 when he lost control of the semi and struck the rear of a 2015 International, which had slowed down to turn onto FM 3113.
Cabrera, a resident of Odessa, was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The 2015 semi-truck driver, 48-year-old Yunior Gonzalez, was not hurt.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
