75-Year-Old Kenneth Ferrell Killed in Belton Pedestrian Crash at East 13th Avenue and North Beal Street
Belton, Texas (September 15, 2018) – A 75-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while trying to cross a street in Belton on Friday morning, according to the police.
The incident happened at about 7:06 a.m. on Friday, September 14 at the intersection of East 13th Avenue and North Beal Street.
Police said Kenneth Ferrell, 75, of Belton was trying to cross 13th Street when he was hit by an eastbound silver Chevrolet HHR.
Belton Police responded to the crash and performed CPR on the victim, after which he was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple. Ferrell Succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and called the authorities.
The Belton Police Department is investigating the crash.
