Keith Poston Killed in La Marque Motorcycle Accident on FM 1764
La Marque, Texas (December 6, 2019) – One person was killed, and another was severely injured in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night in La Marque, according to the police.
The fatal crash took place around 9:30 p.m. December 4, near the 6000 block of FM 1764.
Police said two motorcyclists were riding westbound when one of them changed lanes and struck a pickup truck. The impact caused that motorcycle to hit the second motorcycle.
Keith Poston, 61, of Santa Fe, who was riding the first motorcycle, was killed in the crash.
The other motorcyclist was airlifted to a University of Texas Medical Branch hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash.
Investigators said alcohol was a likely factor in the crash.
An investigation is underway.
