Woman Hurt in Harlingen Pedestrian Accident on West Lincoln Street

Harlingen, Texas (September 16, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Saturday morning in Harlingen, according to the police.
The accident happened shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15 in the 3000 block of West Lincoln Street.
Police said the woman was jogging along the road when she was struck by the mirror of a vehicle. The driver failed to stop after the incident.
The woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was reportedly operating a dark-colored SUV suspected to be a Jeep Liberty.
The Harlingen Police Department is investigating the crash.
