JJ Frantz Hospitalized after El Paso Pedestrian Crash on Echo Street and Sunrise Avenue
El Paso, Texas (December 3, 2018) – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Friday night in northeast El Paso, according to a local news source.
The incident happened at Echo Street and Sunrise Avenue on Friday, November 30.
According to the News source, JJ Frantz, 63, was strolling in his neighborhood when a female driver struck him while making a turn at the intersection.
The driver then fled the scene after the incident.
Frantz went to seek treatment for injuries which included road rash, an injured shoulder and a swollen ankle.
Frantz said the vehicle involved was a light green Xterra missing its bumper.
The El Paso Police Department is investigating the incident.
