Jesus Rosas Hospitalized with Serious Injuries after Odessa Two-Vehicle Crash
Odessa, Texas (August 19, 2018) – A person was hospitalized Friday evening after a traffic collision in Odessa, according to the authorities.
The collision happened at about 7:30 p.m. August 17, in the 900 block of West IH-20 and Crane.
Police said an 18-wheeler was being driven by 35-year-old Sunday Adeogun eastbound on IH-20. Meanwhile, 23-year-old Jesus Rosas was driving a black Ford F-150 eastbound directly behind the 18-wheeler.
Rosas failed to control the speed of his Ford and hit the 18-wheeler.
The Odessa Police and Odessa Fire Rescue responded to the scene and took Rosas to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
