36-Year-Old Jesse Uhrig Killed in Holland Train Crash on Mills Lane
Holland, Texas (April 26, 2019) – A 36-year-old man died after an accident where his car collided with a train at a crossing in Holland, Bell County on Thursday morning, according to police.
The incident was reported just before 11 a.m. April 25 at Mills Lane near Highway 95.
The report showed that Jesse Uhrig, 36, of Temple, was driving a 2007 Ford Escape eastbound when he tried to cross the tracks and was struck by the train.
Jesse Uhrig died at the site of the collision.
None of the 177 passengers on board the train was hurt.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
