Edwin McCuin Killed in Jacksonville Pedestrian Accident on South Jackson Street

Jacksonville, Texas (August 30, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Monday night in Jacksonville, according to the police.

The accident took place around 8:55 p.m. August 26, on South Jackson Street.

Police said Edwin McCuin, 69 of Jacksonville, was crossing the road between intersections when he was hit by a vehicle which was traveling in the outside lane.

McCuin was taken to a Jacksonville hospital. He was later airlifted to a Tyler hospital where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
