Cheyenne Lawlis Dies in Lindale Car Crash near County Road 474 and Highway 69

Lindale, Texas (July 6, 2018) – A two-vehicle collision left a Cumberland High School student dead on Monday morning in Lindale, according to the Lindale Police Department.
The crash occurred at about 6:50 a.m. July 2 near County Road 474 and Highway 69.
Police said a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection and struck a second vehicle.
Cheyenne Lawlis, 15, was a passenger in one of the vehicles and was killed in the wreck.
The Lindale Police Department is working to determine the cause of the collision.
