Brownsville, TX. – 31-year-old Beatriz Castillo was killed in a car accident on Wednesday morning in Brownsville.
According to the Brownsville Police Department, the accident happened around 5:17 a.m. in the 1700 block of N. Minnesota Avenue.
Castillo was driving a car on the roadway when she lost control and crashed into a power pole.
The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
