Fatal Four-Car Wreck FM 1960 in Humble

Humble, Texas (March 4, 2017) – A woman died late Friday night in a multi-car crash in Humble, according to in Humble.
The accident took place in the 9600 block of FM 1960 between Whitaker and Townsen Boulevard at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 3, according to a police report.
According to Humble PD, a woman in her early 50s was traveling westbound on FM 1960 when she rear-ended a car carrying six people causing a chain-reaction.
Four cars in total were involved in the pileup. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The six parties in the car that was initially struck by the woman were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police shut down FM 1960 for several hours as investigators collected evidenced at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
