Female Motorist Injured in Eastex Freeway Crash in Harris County

Harris County, Houston (September 9, 2017) – A woman was injured Saturday morning after crashing into a mail truck in Harris County, police reported.
The crash took place on the southbound lanes of the Eastex Freeway, just near the loop.
According to the report, the woman was traveling on the wrong way northbound when she plunged into the mail truck in the southbound lane on 59.
Fortunately, the involved victims are expected to survive.
The southbound lanes of the Eastex Freeway were closed and later reopened. Police believe that the woman was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
