Vidor Woman Seriously Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-10 in Orange County

Orange County, Texas (May 9, 2018) – A 50-year-old woman was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning in Orange County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place at around 10 a.m. on Interstate 10 near Mile Marker 857.
DPS said the woman was driving an Acura on the interstate when she started slowing for traffic ahead and was rear-ended by a Dodge Charger, operated by an 18-year-old Vidor woman.
The driver of the Acura was transported to Beaumont Baptist Hospital in serious condition.
The other driver was not injured and was cited for failure to slow down.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
