Carson Wrinkle Killed in Crash with Suspected DUI Driver in League City

22-Year-Old Carson Wrinkle Killed in Two-Vehicle Wreck on I-45 South in League City

League City, Texas (December 3, 2017) – A suspected drunken driver caused a fatal two-vehicle collision that left one person dead on Interstate 45 early Saturday morning.
According to the League City Police Department, the crash happened on I-45 South near FM 518 exit ramp at about 1:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2
Police said 38-year-old Carlos Sanchez III was driving a Nissan at a high rate of speed and swerved off his lane striking a Jeep Wrangler, driven by Carson Wrinkle, 22.
The impact caused the Jeep to flip and ejected Wrinkle from the vehicle.
Wrinkle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sanchez was not injured and was charged with intoxication manslaughter for causing the crash, police said.
