Two Women Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Collision on NW Loop 410 in San Antonio

Two Hospitalized after San Antonio Multi-Vehicle Wreck on Northwest Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (February 18, 2018) – Two women were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday evening in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to San Antonio Police Department.
The wreck happened on the access road of Northwest Loop 410 near Ingram Road at about 6:50 p.m. Saturday, February 17.
An SUV was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Loop 410 when it lost control and struck a white vehicle, causing it to hit a wall. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to roll over.
Two women riding in the white car were rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the SUV attempted to flee the scene but was later taken into custody. Police performed a field sobriety test on him.
Charges are pending an ongoing investigation.
