Robert Bikoski Killed in Copperas Cove Car Crash on W. Business Highway 190

Copperas Cove, Texas (July 29, 2019) – A driver was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Saturday in Copperas Cove, according to the DPS.

The crash took place in the 200 block of W. Business Highway 190 on Saturday, July 27.

Authorities said EMS crews responded to the incident and performed CPR on one of the drivers but were unsuccessful. The driver, identified as Robert Bikoski, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

The second driver reportedly fled the scene after the crash but was later caught by the police. The driver was identified as Daniel Christopher Burcham. He was arrested and booked into the Copperas Cove Jail on charges of intoxication manslaughter.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
