Lampasas County, TX – Three people were killed, and two others were injured Saturday night in a head-on collision in Lampasas County, according to the police.
The fatal collision occurred around 8:13 p.m. on February 28 at the intersection of U.S. 190 and County Road 4302.
Police said a 2005 Lexus sedan was traveling westbound when it began traveling in the center turn lane. It crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an eastbound 2024 Lincoln SUV.
The Lexus driver, 35-year-old Raul Jaimes Sanchez of Lampasas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lincoln driver, 41-year-old Adela Suarez Villa of Copperas Cove, was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
A 14-year-old male passenger in the Lincoln was taken to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.
A 12-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy, who were passengers in the Lincoln, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision remains under investigation.
