Woman Seriously Injured in Westheimer Road Pedestrian Crash

Houston, Texas (August 18, 2018) – A woman was hit and seriously injured by a car on Friday morning on Westheimer Road, according to Houston Police Department.
The incident occurred at about 4 a.m. near West Sam Houston Parkway on Friday, August 18.
Police said that the woman was struck by a silver Honda Civic in the eastbound lanes. She was seriously injured and rushed to hospital by an ambulance.
The driver of the vehicle is assisting the police to find out the root cause of the accident.
