Nolan Evanicki Killed in Two-Vehicle Wreck in Pleasant Valley

18-Year-Old Poughkeepsie Man Killed in Pleasant Valley Crash

Pleasant Valley, Texas (November 20, 2017) – Police in Pleasant Valley are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed an 18-year-old Poughkeepsie man on Sunday evening.
The crash occurred on Route 44 at the Taconic State Parkway at about 7:30 pm on Sunday, November 19.
Police said a vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 44 turned left onto the Taconic on-ramp and into the path of a westbound vehicle leading to the collision.
Nolan Evanicki, 18, of Poughkeepsie was traveling in one of the vehicles and had to be pulled out of the wreckage by the Pleasant Valley Fire Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
