Michaela Tirado Struck and Killed by Vehicle at SeaWorld in San Antonio
San Antonio, Texas (June 25, 2018) – A 5-year-old child was struck and killed by a vehicle at a parking lot in San Antonio on Sunday night, according to the police.
The crash happened at around 8 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at the SeaWorld parking lot along SeaWorld Drive.
Police said Michaela Tirado, 5, of Aubrey, was leaving the park with her family when she got away from her parents, darted between two vehicles and was struck by a truck.
Tirado died at the scene of the crash.
No one else was injured.
Police said the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
