The fatal crash occurred about 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 29 on U.S. Highway 281, just north of Morgan Mill.
According to DPS, James D. Moore, 87, of Lipan, was driving his Ford F-150 truck southbound and tried to make a left turn across the highway into his property, but failed to yield right of way to a northbound Western Dairy Milk Transport truck tractor, operated by Danny Mote, 63, of Daffau, Texas.
