Dallas, TX – The man who was killed early Monday morning in a wrong-way collision in Dallas has been identified as Michael Francis Cochlin, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The fatal collision occurred around 2:10 a.m. on February 16 on the Dallas North Tollway near Royal Lane.
DPS said Cochlin was driving a Hyundai Tucson northbound in the southbound lanes when he crashed head-on into a Land Rover.
Cochlin was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The driver and passengers in the Land Rover were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.
No additional details were provided.
The Texas DPS is investigating the accident.
