Man Killed in Sunshine Street Hit-and-Run Crash in Harris County

Harris County, Texas (August 20, 2017) – A man was hit and killed by an unknown vehicle on Friday night in Harris County, according to a police report.
The accident took place at around 9 p.m. in the 16400 block of Sunshine Street on Friday, August 18, according to the police report.
The 33-year-old man was walking on the side lane with the aid of a walker after being involved in another accident in the past. He was hit and left for dead by an unknown driver who fled the scene, the report said.
He was found lying next to his walker and pieces from broken headlights believed to belong to the vehicle that struck him.
Police were called to the site and are currently conducting investigations into the accident.
