Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in East Austin

Man Killed in East Austin Pedestrian Crash on Chicon Street

Austin, Texas (November 2, 2017) – A pedestrian was struck and killed on Tuesday night by a hit-and-run driver in East Austin.
According to Austin Police, the man was hit at around 8:30 p.m. in the 90 block of Chicon Street near Willow Street on Tuesday, October 31.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene southbound on Chicon Street.
The identity of the victim was not available.
Police were called to the scene and closed the street for investigations.
