Man and 2 Children Injured in Laredo Pedestrian Crash on Chicago Street

Laredo, Texas (December 16, 2018) – A man and two children were struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver on Friday afternoon in Laredo.
According to the Laredo police, the crash was reported at about 3:30 p.m. December 14 in the 1500 block of Chicago Street near Farias Elementary School.
Police said a man aged 26, a 4-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl were hit by a vehicle in the area.
The three pedestrians were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered serious.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after hitting the three. Witnesses told the police that the vehicle involved was a dark blue or black Ford F-150 with Chrome rims and paper tags.
The Laredo Police Department is investigating the incident.
