Lauren Gillum Killed, Eric Bryce Seriously Injured in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 137

Midland County, Texas (December 24, 2019) – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Midland County, south of Stanton, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. on December 20, on Highway 137.

DPS said Eric Bryce, 30, of Granbury, was driving southbound when he hit a semi-truck pulling a trailer which pulled onto the highway.

Lauren Gillum, of Granbury, who was a passenger in Bryce’s car, was killed in the crash.

Bryce was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The semi-truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

All three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
