Austin County, TX – One person was killed, and another was injured on Monday in a two-vehicle collision in Austin County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal collision was reported around 8:30 a.m. on April 20 on Highway 36 at Loop 497 between Brenham and Bellville.

The Freightliner driver, Ernest V. Nduwamungu, 35, of Jacksonville, Florida, was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Brenham for treatment.
